Cheap Car Rentals in West of The Strip, Las Vegas from C$ 39

Check in agent was having issues with their internal system. Was getting into arguments with guests (People were being rude so it wasn't entirely their fault) Vegas was experiencing a heat wave - office AC couldn't keep up. Was there for 2 hours, was so disorganized people who showed up after me were seen before me. Wound up booking another car with a different company - A full refund would be required for me to consider booking with Kayak or Hertz in the future.

Flight delayed hot to rental car location 12:08 they wouldn’t even open the door to speak to me spoke to me through the door couldn’t understand they closed at 12;00 Literally worst service I took an Uber to this pick up location from airport had to Uber to lake Las Vegas then Uber again the next day to pick up budget rental car Called Sunday to get my $ back from hertz could not reach a representative. Left message no one Responded.

There were no cars available. The rental didn't happen despite it being confirmed online. Very, very frustrating.

The car wasn’t ready when we picked up and had to be cleaned so we had to wait quite a while, which put us behind on our trip. But, other than that our experience was great. Staff was helpful and nice, particularly when we dropped the car off. I wish I remembered her name, but the person who checked us in was fantastic!

The agent at your location gave us a price of over $500 for a 2 day rental which was $124 including taxes & insurance. She said we were unable to use kayak website. She said we had to pay their location fee. I had confirmation & intinerary that I showed her with this price.I offered to show it to her again she wouldn’t look at it. She continued to argue with myself and my wife. We said fine we’re not taking this car. We called Uber to come pick us up. We were waiting outside for Uber to come get us and take us back downtown to our hotel. Then after about 5 minutes the agent came back outside. She said there was an error in the dates of our booking. She then said we could have the car for the price it said in my confirmation. I really think that this employee should be warned if not fired for trying to scam us out hundreds of dollars. While I was outside I spoke to another customer he said they were being charged $900 for a 1 week rental. He thought this was ridiculous. If I was him I would have walked away. He got scammed big time. This location really needs to be investigated. It was a horrible experience for us on our holiday. Cheers Rick Grimard

One of the best car rental company for now

Most Las Vegas hotels on the Strip don't allow pick up or drop off of rental car customers. One has to take Uber or public transit to get there

The experience with this Budget in partial has always been a 5/10. They often ignore the people in line, stay understaffed (2 employees on a weekend), and never have a great attitude. This time around was even worse. First they didn't have the car we put our request months in advance for. Then the lady at the register told us we had to get their insurance even though Budget let's you use our own. And gave us an attitude when we said no. Secondly, we had the misfortune of losing our car key. When talking to Budgets roadside assistant, they sent a total of 7 tow trucks that couldn't pick up the vehicle. We told them the ceiling height was 7 feet and flatbed trucks wouldn't work. After 8 hours they finally said we could leave the car and grab a replacement, but would have to pay an unknown price for a drop fee(where we drop the car anywhere and they pick it up). The roadside assistant said between $0-150. When we picked up the replacement vehicle we were told the price would be $500. Over the course of the next 5 days we would get 50+ calls and texts saying the pickup service was cancelled by us and we told them no and that we had already left the car as instructed by Budget since we waited 8 hours for their lack of communication. After we got our replacement car we drove back to this Budget. We parked in the parking lot and went in to drop the keys like we had done at least 5 times before. This time the lady in the office had a nasty attitude and said we have to drive it around back so they can inspect it. We informed her we have never heard this rule and apologized and let her know we would gladly follow these instructions but that we rent here multiple times a year and never heard it. With the most attitude she informed us that "it's been printed for years but some people don't follow the rules". Finally a nice gentleman helped us After we dropped the car in the correct location. He gave us a printout of the bill and with a line charge that said "misc fee $750". When we came back to ask him what the fee was the old lady jumped in and said we agreed to it when we signed the contract and went on trying to explain the contract. We told her we just want to know what the misc fee was and she said it was the drop fee for the car and that we should've known that. It was 110 degrees outside so we asked for the number to Budget and if they ever picked up the car we left. Her response was "our cars have gps". Luckily the nice man told us where find the number and we left.
