As one of Oregon’s seven natural wonders, Crater Lake is truly a sight to behold. The largest lake in the U.S. shimmers with the deepest of blues, surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls of sheer cliffs in what was once a violently volcanic spot. Today, Crater Lake offers some of Oregon’s best hiking, skiing and water sports, as well as unmatched photo ops from the crater’s rim.
